The Holy Ghost is My Friend is a book that every family should have. It is written for children to explain who the Holy Ghost is, what He does for us, and how to feel His promptings.
The book is unlike any other I have ever seen. Each page has a hidden picture that you can see if you shine a flashlight behind the page or hold the book up to the light. It is brilliant, and so apropos to teaching about the Holy Ghost.
The artwork is beautiful, and the lessons about the Holy Ghost are absolutely correct. They are explained in a way that kids can understand, with real-life situations.
One of my favorite pages explored how we don’t know how people are feeling inside – whether their hearts are full or broken, so if we ever have a prompting to serve someone, we should. There is a reason.
I am so grateful I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. It is one we will read in my home for years to come!
